I have been practicing and teaching mindfulness and presence for over twenty years and wrote The Inner Path: A Guide to Living a More Mindful, Fulfilling, and Spiritual Life & A Mindful Approach to Parenting: Insights on Raising Our Children With Wisdom, Awareness, and Acceptance.
I studied yoga and Eastern spirituality at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and graduated from the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher Training program at the Center for Mindfulness at the UMass Medical School in 2001. Since 2000, I have done many silent extended meditation retreats, the most recent being a six week one (some of them were VERY hard. lol.. I know suffering... )
And I know peace.
And I can help you find it. To create it.
To be it.
I have also studied and practiced the principles of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and trauma based somatic healing techniques. I have a bachelor of commerce degree and a Masters in Special Education.
My talks have been used by the US Department of Veteran Affairs and can be found on the Insight Timer app and the Good Men Project. I am an International Mindfulness Teachers Association certified professional level instructor and have taught mindfulness in a variety of corporate, educational, and private settings. Most of my clients come with a general awareness of the concepts of mindfulness, personal therapy, etc. and are ready to deepen their practice. To become more present. More powerful. More peaceful.
I look forward to speaking with you to see if I can help.
Much peace.

Mindfulness can help us be more aware and accepting of ourselves
- Geoff Bell-Devaney
For I Awaken
Because I breathe, I am enough.
Because I breathe.
For I awaken to each new day, I am enough.
For I awaken.
Since I am alive, I am enough.
I am enough.
And I can sit without moving,
without doing.
Because I am enough.
And I am whole.
Because I breathe.
Because I awaken.
Because I am.
That is enough.
Being gently in our bodies can help us live more at ease
